Dear Friends, Supporters and Benefactors,
The Pipes of Christmas is a beloved celebration of the music and poetry of Christmas in the Celtic lands. It is a wonderful platform from which to spotlight some of the finest musical talent in the Celtic world. It is also a vital source of scholarship funds to support the next generation of Scottish and Irish musicians.
We first presented the “Pipes” 19 years ago in Summit, NJ. To our great surprise, over 700 guests turned out to witness the birth of this very special – and soon to become – annual holiday classic now recognized as one of New York’s “Top Ten” Holiday events.
We’ve sold out every concert since that miraculous beginning – nearly 20 thousand audience members have seen the live production while an astonishing 300 thousand additional cable subscribers have had access to our award-winning concert highlights through the Comcast and Verizon cable television platforms.
These broadcasts are also webcast over HomeTowne Television’s website making the Pipes of Christmas accessible literally around the world!
The Pipes of Christmas also prides itself in being a good community citizen – helping to raise countless funds for area charities and non-profit groups.
This year marks our 20th anniversary and our 10th in New York City. As the much loved popular hit confirms, “If you can make it there you’ll make it anywhere.” We are humbled that our concert has found a home in the world’s greatest city. A city by the way that is not short of high-stepping holiday extravaganzas, magnificent oratorios by Haydn and classical ballets starring nutcrackers and sugar plum fairies. The Big Apple didn’t even wait until the end of the first concert to cast their vote, treating our company to a standing ovation at the end of the First Act!
Whatever the reason, from supporting our fundraising program to reaching our sophisticated audience members to just simply taking part in our Christmas cheer, we invite you to support us by publishing your personal or business advertisement in our Program Journal for the 19th annual edition of The Pipes of Christmas.
In addition to the satisfaction you’ll have supporting these promising young musicians; you’ll also be reaching an audience of over two thousand patrons of the arts in the New York metropolitan area.
Thank you for your support!
