Food Drive at New Jersey “Pipes of Christmas” Performance to Benefit
Community FoodBank of New Jersey
We’ve all heard of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and even Small Business Saturday.  But there’s another special day gaining ground during the holidays:  Giving Tuesday.  This year, it’s Tuesday, December 3rd, and the movement’s goal is to raise awareness and create a national day to celebrate charitable activities.
The Pipes of Christmas has been an active supporter of local and national charitable organizations for the last 15 years. From the United Way to the American Red Cross, we take great pride in helping others. This year is no exception.
Community Food Bank of New Jersey
Giving Tuesday is all about giving back, and whether you volunteer your time or donate money, the Clan Currie Society and the Pipes of Christmas invite you to support the Community FoodBank of NJ (or the charity of your choice) on Tuesday, December 3rd and every day.
And – for all those attending the – sold out – Sunday, December 15 performance of the Pipes of Christmas in Summit, NJ, here’s another way to help those less fortunate during the holidays.
Everyone attending the Summit, NJ performance is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, which distributes food to more than 1,000 partner agencies across the state, including soup kitchens, food pantries, emergency shelters, and child and senior feeding programs.
During this our 15th anniversary year, let’s start another great Christmas tradition by helping to fill the shelves at the Community FoodBank of NJ!
